If you are one of those users who have been waiting a long time to use the latest version Windows 11 on their PC or laptop, then this is good news for you. Microsoft recently announced that the latest version of its latest Windows OS, Windows 11, will be officially available as a stable update from October 5 this year. Windows 11 is currently in beta and only available to those who are part of the Windows Insider program.
Microsoft has also announced new changes with the latest version Windows 11. It contains many of the same elements that we already know for some time, such as the new center-aligned taskbar. Other newer versions include new words, updates like Microsoft 365 Integration.
When will you get Windows 11?
Windows 11 will launch in phases from 5 October. This
means that you may not be able to see the update notification on that day, but
you will get it on your device soon. The update will only come for eligible
users. You can check for updates to your device on Windows 11 after October 5
by going to Settings> Windows Update and selecting Check for Updates.
Minimum requirements for Windows 11 update
A few months ago, Microsoft revealed some requirements
for running update Windows 11 on a PC. This will require a
processor with two or more cores and clock speeds of 1GHz or more. This will
require 4GB or more of RAM and at least 64GB of storage. The PC will also need
the security version of TPM 2.0 and SecureBootCapable support.
The company subsequently made some adjustments to the
earlier announcement published in the company's latest blog post. New additions
to the compatible CPU list include the Intel Core X-Series and the Zion
W-Series. The list now includes the Intel Core 7820HQ CPU, but only selected
devices running this CPU are compatible. Devices shipped with modern drivers
based on Surface Studio 2, such as declarative, componentized, hardware support
apps (DCH) design principles are supported.
Microsoft has also confirmed that there are no new
additions to AMD CPUs. The company claims that it has carefully analyzed AMD
Gen processors in partnership with AMD. Users will soon be able to use
Microsoft's PC Health Check app to make their PC compatible with update Windows
11.
Android app support will be available on update Windows
11, but it will not come with the latest version windows. The
company will then link it to a separate regular update to your operating
system.
