Under new IT rules Social media company Facebook will release its first interim report on July
2. In this report, there will be information about how much content has been
removed from Facebook between May 15 and June 15.
Their final report will be released on July 15, in which they will tell how
many complaints have been received by Facebook from users and action has been
taken on how many of these complaints.

Explain that the new IT rules have been implemented across the country on May 26,
according to which social media companies have to share complaint reports every month.
It will contain information about complaints and their
redressal. Also, in this final report, the link of the post removed from Facebook will be
recorded as information.
Full report on July 15
According to a Facebook spokesperson, the final report in this matter will be released on July 15.
WhatsApp data will also be included in this final report.
However, the company has clarified that Facebook will
issue an interim report on July 2, which will not contain information about the
receipt and redressal of complaints, as the company is currently working on
these complaints.
But the company's July 15 report will contain full details
of complaints and their redressal.
Under new IT rules Wrong content remove in 36 hours
The new IT rules have been designed to prevent the misuse of digital
platforms. Under this, social media companies have to appoint a grievance redressal officer.
Also, the complaints links have to be removed after
investigation. Content removal must be done within 36 hours. Also, pornographic
content has to be removed within 24 hours.
