Budget Highlights: Finance Minister Srimati Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the General Budget 2021 of the Modi government's third term in Parliament.

She has made many important announcements in the budget. Along with this, the foreign mobile has been said to be expensive in the budget.

At the same time, the customs duty on the phone has been increased to 2.5 percent. It is clear from this year's budget that the government wants to focus on Make in India.

Finance Minister Srimati Nirmala Sitharaman said,” Domestic electronic manufacturing has grown rapidly. For greater domestic value addition we're withdrawing a few exemptions on part of chargers & sub-parts of mobiles. Further some parts of mobiles will move from nil rate to a moderate 2.5%.”

The most impact of the General Budget 2021 will be on those smartphone makers whose devices are not being manufactured in India.

However, domestic tech companies will benefit the most from this. Apart from this, India will also export mobile and its parts to other countries.

Let us know that a recent Bloomberg report revealed that Taiwanese tech company Pegatron Corporation has partnered with Tata to create electronics, mobile, and its parts.

For this, an investment of 85 thousand crores was made between the two companies. The report further said that in the first phase, Tata invested Rs 5,767 crore to make mobile parts and Pegatron invested 80 thousand 500 crores to make mobile phones.
