Apart from these big technology events, the smartphone events launched in India have also been canceled. Xiaomi has canceled its Redmi Note 9 series event to be launched in India on March 12.

At the same time, Realme has also canceled the launch event of its Realme 6 series. The launch events of these two companies will be streamed live through online channels. The launch event of Realme 6, 6 Pro was to be held in Delhi on 5 March.

Xiaomi's Global Vice President Manu Kumar Jain tweeted through his Twitter handle that Redmi Note 9, launch event to be held on March 12, keeping in mind the cases facing Coronavirus in different parts of India the launch event of the series is being canceled.

Madhav Seth, CEO of Realme has also announced the cancellation of the launch event of Realme 6 series to be held on March 5 from his Twitter handle. 

Madhav Seth, in a tweet from his Twitter handle, wrote that the event is being canceled in view of the latest cases of coronavirus and the advisory issued by the health authorities. 

The Realme launch event of this smartphone will also be streamed live through the company's official social media channels.

More than 90 thousand people worldwide have been affected by Coronavirus. So far 5 cases have been reported in India.
