Price of 28 days validity plan will increase once again

Price of the plan going to increase once again by Telecom companies. This time companies can increase the price of plans running for 28 days.

Price was increased in the telecom industry in the year 2019 which had affected the users' pockets. At the same time, now once again telecom companies can increase the price of their plans. This time telecom company can increase the price of plans that last up to 28 days. In such a situation, a lot of loads is expected on the users' pockets in the coming days. If this happens, users can go for a plan with a validity of 84 days, excluding the 28-day plan.

Why Price of 28 day validity plans will increase

According to analysts, the tariff price raised by Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea from 12 percent to 33 percent are not enough. At present, the price of 2 GB data giving plans of 28 days has been increased by 15 percent in the price. With this, the price of the plan has been increased to Rs 148.

Analysts said that telecom operators should launch a low amount of data offering plans with a validity of 28 days which provides data from 5 GB to 20 GB. If companies launch such plans, they are expected to price up to Rs 400.  It will affect the users' pockets. On the other hand, this may increase the ARPU (Average revenue per user) of companies.

The increase in price by telecom companies is just a news story because analysts believe so. Also, this has been mentioned in the ET report. If this happens, the ARPU of companies may increase. It is believed that companies may increase the price of tariff plans from 25 percent to 30 percent by the end of this year. This can be especially with plans with a validity of 28 days.
