The Indian Computer
Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued an immediate warning to Google
Chrome Browser users. CERT-In operates under the Ministry of Electronics and
Information Technology. A report from the same CERT-IN office states that the
legendary browsing platform Google Chrome Browser is dangerous for users.
The government has identified several vulnerabilities in Google Chrome Browser,
which could lead to hacking.
Update Google Chrome Browser quickly
According to the
government, users should update the Google Chrome browser immediately.
Otherwise, the device runs the risk of being hacked remotely, which could lead
to the theft of your sensitive personal information. Along with the government,
Google's team has also advised users to update the Google Chrome browser.
According to Google, the latest Google Chrome browser has 22 types of
security fixes that will work to enhance user privacy.
According to CERT-In,
many errors have been identified in the Google Chrome browser. The
report states that Google Chrome V8 is not safe to use due to
typographical errors. It fixes many bugs like a web app, user interface, screen
capture, file API, auto-fill, and developer tools.
How to update Google Chrome Browser
Open the Google
Chrome browser. Click on the 3 dots which is at the top right. Then, come to
the setting option. After clicking on Settings, click on the About Chrome
option.
Clicking on the About
Chrome option will start the Google Chrome browser update spontaneously.
After the Google Chrome browser update, you need to click Restart. Google
Chrome will reopen after the browser is closed. This will be updated in the Google
Chrome browser.
