Right now everyone needs a vaccination certificate. But the way fake vaccination certificates are being obtained has become a source of headache for the government. In such cases, the central government has made arrangements to verify them.

For about six months, the vaccination campaign of the corona is being run across the country. Many of you must have got the vaccine by booking on the Cowin portal or the Arogya Setu app and many people will still be in the queue.

The government has now also given the facility of onsite registration to the people, that is, you can go directly to the vaccination center and make an appointment by hand and get the vaccine.

People are getting a certificate after each dose of the vaccine. The final certificate is being received after both the doses, but if you are asked whether your certificate is real or fake, then you will also be thinking.

How to identify a certificate 

Many people have complained about fake certificates, after which the government has given online facilities to people to check the final certificate.

Now you can check the certificate from your phone while sitting at home. First of all, do OK by typing verify.cowin.gov.in/ in your phone's browser.

After this, you will see the option of Verify a vaccination certificate, and just below it will see the option of Scan QR code. Allow the browser to open the camera by clicking on this option. Now scan the QR code given on your certificate.

After scanning the QR code, 'Certificate Successfully Verified' appears then your certificate is genuine and if you get the message of 'Certificate Invalid' then your certificate is fake.

Blue Tick on Arogya Setu App

The Government of India has announced to give a blue tick to the people on the Arogya Setu app. On the Aarogya Setu app, blue ticks will be available with the accounts of those who have got both doses of the vaccine.

Those who get vaccinated on the Arogya Setu app will get a blue tick and blue shield. The advantage of this will be that without seeing the certificate, those people who have got the vaccine will be recognized only from the Arogya Setu app.
