Facebook introduces new live streaming features without an account.

With the new Facebook Live streaming features, you can follow the live streaming without a smartphone or Facebook account.

The Company is working on new features, making it easier for people to access live streaming - even if they don't have a Facebook account - as it tries to meet the demand for live video.

The company will begin allowing non-Facebook users to watch the live streaming from mobile devices, previously only available on desktop. This feature is already available for Android users and will be rolled out for "iOS" in the coming weeks.

The Company is also adding new options that will allow Facebook to live streamers to access mobile data without a smartphone or without a Facebook account. Called a "public switched telephone network", it will allow people to listen on live streaming through a toll-free number, similar to calling in a conference call. Similarly, Facebook Live is getting a new "audio-only" mode so that viewers can listen together without watching the video.

The new features could help Facebook cope with the "unprecedented" surge in demand for its services in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic. The company said it is struggling to keep up with traffic, as more and more users turn to its messaging app to keep in touch with loved ones through a conference call.

Both video conference calls and live streams are resource-exhausting for the company. It has already been forced to downgrade video quality in Europe. So if more users take advantage of features such as audio-only or calling in live streaming, it can also help the company conserve resources.

Explain that in the event of a lockdown, people are using platforms like Zoom, Google Duo and Skype for video calling. At the same time, a lot of video calling is being done from Facebook Messenger.

It is worth noting that recently, YouTube, Instagram, Netflix, and Amazon Prime have decided to show videos in low resolution in order to reduce internet pressure
