Apple's exclusive online store will start functioning in the third quarter this year. Speaking to investors at the Annual Share Holders meeting at Apple Garden in Cupertino, California on Wednesday the company said that the company will open its first offline retail outlet next year in the world's second-largest smartphone market.

Apple will launch its online store in India this year. At the same time, the company's first physical store in India will be opened in the year 2021.

This information was given by the company's CEO Tim Cook during the annual shareholder meeting held in Cupertino. Tim Cook said that after a long time the Government of India has given a relief of 30 percent in the local sourcing norms of single-brand retail i.e. SBRT.

Apple also said last the year that they want to provide better service to users both online and offline in India.

Apple CEO doesn't want anyone else to run our brand

Apple CEO Tick Cook clearly stated that I do not want anyone else in India to run our brand because we do not think we will be a very good partner of retail.

Apple currently has third party reseller outlets to sell its products in India. At the same time, Tim Cook also said that Apple's online store will start in India this year.
