After paying Rs 10,000 crore to the government from the AGR, Airtel has now changed the prices of some of its postpaid plans, making them expensive.
Airtel postpaid plans: The Supreme Court on
the Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) has ordered telecom companies to pay arrears
by 23 January 2020, slamming it. Telecom companies owe AGR payments of 1.47
lakh crore to the government.
This includes all other telecom companies except
Reliance Jio, who has not paid the outstanding dues of AGR. At the same time,
after the Supreme Court rebuke, Bharti Airtel has paid Rs 10,000 crore. With
this, Bharti Airtel has also shocked the users by increasing the prices of some
of Airtel postpaid plans.
As per the TelecomTalk
report, Bharti Airtel postpaid plans have now increased the price of its Rs 199 add-on postpaid
plans to Rs 249.
However, there has been no change in the benefits available in
it. In this, users will get 100 SMS facility with 10 GB data. In addition,
users will also be able to take advantage of unlimited voice calling service.
Bharti Airtel introduced myFamily service in the year 2017, in which users can
save 25% of their postpaid plan fee. For example, in Airtel postpaid plans of Rs 499,
users can choose the add-on option of Rs 249 and for this, you have to pay Rs
499 per month.
Talking about the benefits available in the plan of 499 rupees,
then users can avail unlimited calling on any network.75 GB data is also being provided in it.
