TVS Motor has now
entered the electric two-wheeler market after Bajaj. TVS launched the e-scooter on Saturday in Bengaluru, the
capital of Karnataka. This scooter will hit Bajaj's electric scooter Chetak. Bajaj
Auto launched the electric version of the popular "Chetak" scooter.
TVS electric scooter price
TVS electric scooter can
be purchased in Karnataka for Rs 1.15 lakh. It will be sold first in Bengaluru.
After this, it will also be sold in other cities of the country. The TVS Company
says that it will produce only 1000 units every month. Karnataka Chief Minister
BS Yeddyurappa, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, and TVS Motor Company
Chairman Venu Srinivasan was present during the launch of the TVS electric scooter.

TVS iCube Electric has a 4.4 kV electric motor. It can run at a speed of 78 km.
At the same time, once fully charged, it can be taken up to 75 km. This TVS scooter
can hold a speed of zero to 40 km in 4.2 seconds. This model has TVs
SmartXonnect platform, which has many features like geofencing, remote battery
charge navigation, etc.
TVS e-scooter competitor of Bajaj Chetak
TVS e-scooter is
expected to compete mainly with Bajaj Chetak Electric in the Indian market.
Talking about Bajaj Auto's Chetak scooter, it will be available in two variants
- Eco and Sport mode. The company will offer a range of 95 km in Eco mode while
in Sport mode this scooter will give a range of 85 km.
The integrated braking
system will be available in terms of safety. It will have a large digital
instrument panel that will also support Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones
and turn-by-turn navigation. The starting price of the Bajaj scooter is Rs 1 lakh.
