BSNL revises validity of this long term prepaid plans


BSNL Marutham plan had been launched for basic users for 345 days. 


BSNL, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has revised its popular Marutham plan. Users are now being offered less validity in this plan. Actually, the validity of the prepaid plan of Rs 1,188 has been reduced from 345 days to 300 days. However, the availability of subscribing to this BSNL prepaid plan has been escorted by the company for 90 days. 

Now users will be able to subscribe to this plan by 31 March 2020. The special feature of the BSNL Marutham plan had been launched for basic users. Daily data benefits are not being offered to users in this plan.

BSNL is also offering daily data with 365 days validity in its prepaid plans of Rs 1,999 and Rs 1,699. The BSNL Marutham plan has been specifically introduced in the challenge of the Affordable Long Validity Plans of Airtel and Vodafone-Idea with 1,498 and 1,499. 

The BSNL Marutham plan is currently available only for two telecom circles in the country, Chennai and Tamil Nadu. The validity of this plan was earlier 345 days, in which users were offered an additional validity of 20 days.

BSNL Marathon plan other benefits found in this plan, in this, 250 minutes of a voice call is being offered to the users. Users can avail voice calling on any network under this offer. Talking about the data benefits available in this BSNL plan, a total of 5GB of data is being offered to the users. In addition, the benefit of a total of 1000 SMS is also being given.

BSNL Marutham plan comparison with Reliance Jio 


BSNL Marathon plan in comparison with Reliance Jio's Rs 1,299 prepaid plan, 24GB data is being offered to the users in this plan. Also, in this plan, a total of 12,000 free minutes are being offered to users for offline calling. At the same time, unlimited calls are being offered to users for calling on the Jio network. In addition, 3,600 free SMS are also being offered to users.
