South Korean tech company Samsung is preparing to launch
its new Galaxy Watch 2. The smartwatch was spotted on the US Federal
Communications Commission (FCC) certificate site.
According to the report of IANS, the Galaxy Watch 2
can be offered in four variants. The first two variants will come with LTE connectivity.
The model number will be 45mm SM-R845U and SM-R855U.
The remaining two variants of Galaxy Watch 2 will
have Wi-Fi support. Their model numbers are 45mm SM-840 and SM-R850. The new
Galaxy Watch can be called as Galaxy Watch 2.
The new Galaxy Watch 2 has been given Gorilla
Glass DX Protection, 5ATM water resistance, and the watch will come in a
titanium finish. Talking about durability, it is rated mild-STD-810G.
The wireless testing report has revealed that the next
generation Galaxy Watch will support Bluetooth Low Energy.
Samsung recently announced that it has received clearance
from the South Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety regarding the (electrocardiogram
monitoring) ECG feature.
The Galaxy Watch Active 2 features an (electrocardiogram
monitoring) ECG feature. This feature can be added by the company to the
upcoming smartwatch.
Assuming SamMobile, it will be a Galaxy Watch 2
with a rotating balayage. It is being claimed that the new watch may have physical
control with touch. The navigation system is also being claimed in the new
watch.
If you talk about the features of the watch, then in
addition to ECG monitoring, blood pressure monitoring feature can be given.
Last year, Samsung added several new wearables to its SmartWatch portfolio. This
includes the Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Active, and Galaxy Active 2.
